Nowadays in our urban spaces,the "fenomen" of concrete structures constitutes one of the biggest problems affecting environmental impact and specialists discussions.Demographic growth,cost of construction,and materials applied, have influenced multi-storey building and their height.But have this applications analyzed public health and sustainable design for the city?Based on Local General Plan of Tirana,and some key issues,which give importance to facades structures treatments construction, and conservation of environmental values,we’ve organized questionnaires distribution in three “target” groups in designing and implementing field(architects,engineer,wood processing specialists),which ones aim to point out the important role of wood in sustainable cities,starting from wood-frame structures,combined construction or wood-construction beyond the urban level.”Target”groups give their evaluations and proposals for the issue.Very important is the implementation of contemporary metodologies and technologies also in restoration of existing multi-storey buildings,to obtain "green-building"and "sustainable urban design"concept.
